Luke Walton Out with Torn Ligament

Following an MRI exam this morning, it was discovered that Luke Walton has a partially torn deltoid ligament in his left ankle. He is definitely out for tonight’s Game 5 against the Utah Jazz and will be re-evaluated in a week. Walton apparently injured himself on a fast break in the 3rd quarter of Game 4. Walton has had a history of foot and ankle problems. He underwent surgery on his right ankle in the offseason and had a bout with sesamoiditis (inflammation in the bones and tendons in the ball of the foot) earlier this season.
